If you are a visitor to our homepage - welcome, and thank you for taking the time to stop by...A SAMARITAN tries to meet the needs of others, either individually or in small groups. I ask that our members be recognized and accepted as being non-threatening, non-territorial motorcycle riders who are out there on the road to trying to ease the suffering of someone else.

A shout out to our BELGIE SAMARITAN RIDER's! We are on a good path of communication and friendship. I look forward to seeing you in 2014.

In 2011 we had applied for Federal Tax Exemption as a 501.c3 (charitable), 4 (social service) & 7 (social membership) organization. We were denied on all counts despite our appeal. The IRS has cited that we, as an organization provide a taxable service by passively soliciting funds from the public, on behalf of an individual, then disburse said funds to that 1 individual (a clear violation of some tax-code that they have not yet provided to me in writing).

The Board of Directors and I have evaluated the necessary changes the IRS requires of us to achieve a 501.C tax exemption and determined that it would be contrary to the purpose and mission for which our charitable motorcycle riding organization was founded...To lend a hand to our local medically challenged and or socially disadvantaged children by providing them a means to address their needs, whatever they have determined them to be, sooner rather than later. As I had said to the Tax-Man: There is no State or Federal Program that will put gas in the mother's car who lives in our area and needs to drive their child to Seattle or Spokane once a week for a medical evaluation or chemo therpay...Their response: NMFP; pay us  Corporate Tax on your organizations annual income.

We are approaching YEAR 4 of doing good deeds for kids! Our history speaks for itself. We have had 2 successful Good SAM Rides with benefit BBQ's and all day concert events. We are looking for growth as an organization and event promoter for our charitable fund-raising and annual Good SAM event. I continue to remain humble as I welcome any constructive advice, mentoring and guidance which will help our organization achieve its goals and principles.
